“You find-out how Star Wars really started”
This film Solo: A Star Wars Story is being unrated and grossly misunderstood, as this is the first installment of how things started within the Star Wars saga.
Their has to be a starting point to everything and this film shows us how it actually started, so have this thought in mind when you see Solo.
Being that the [Star Wars] universe is already a big one, you try and work-out before Hans Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) makes headway in his quest in rebelling.
He is a naturally talented pilot and that’s all he wants to do, but rebelling is in his nature, he doesn’t last long in the Imperial Flight Academy – as he describes in his conversation with his love interest Qi’ra (Emilia Clarke) on their home planet of Corellia.
You know how things started, are at times not how things really get started, and its one of those moments when you least expect it when Hans get his surname Solo.
Apart from mixing with the wrong-crowd Hans Solo with some contacts from Qi’ra get into contact with some fellow rebels like Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson), who are frustrated and on the wrong-side – as the rising powerbase of underworld kingpin Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover) – of what the Empire wants and expects from its citizens.
Another great moment in the film is the introduction of Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo) – who later becomes friends and co-pilot on Hans’ spaceship the freighter – Millennium Falcon.
The Empire’s greatest weakness is the fact it needs energy and the highly valuable coaxium is something that everyone wants their hands on – Hans Solo and his ever-increasing crew wants as well, plus Star Wars pirates that steal from other crews – so let the battle begin.
These offshoots focussing on characters and their history is a new avenue for the Star Wars franchise.
Get ready for more of these installments to make the Star Wars story a more understood one from all angles.
